Common Issues:

An Extra Character is Added to the End of a Code 39 or Codabar Barcode:

The extra character that is added to the end of a barcode is called the check digit or check character. For barcode symbologies that do not require a check digit such as Code 39 and Codabar, the check character may be disabled by setting the AddCheckDigit property to "No".

Error Messages Appear When Generating an Image File:

An unsupported character set selection may be the issue. To resolve the error, follow these steps:

1.	Click Start

2.	Click Control Panel

3.	Click Regional and Language Options

4.	In the Regional Options tab, change the language to English (United States)

Application does not load, Application only resides in the taskbar and can not be maximized and how to reset default values.

This problem occurs when the registry entries for the software have been corrupted. It may also occur when the active logged in user lacks the access rights to write to the system registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

Follow the steps below to delete the registry keys:

1.	Shutdown the application if it is running

2.	If possible, make a backup of the current registry before continuing

3.	Click Start

Click Run

5.	Enter Regedit in the box and click ok

6.	A two-paned window should appear. On the left side, expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER

7.	Expand Software

8.	Expand EasyBarcodeSoftware.com

9.	Right Click on the appropriate application folder and choose Delete

10.	Close the registry editor and restart the Image Generator
